Canon Rebel T7 Built-In-Flash Not Working

My camera willl NOT allow the built in flash to open. I’ve cleaned the hot shoe but it still comes up as “accessory attached”. Someone please help me if you can!🙏

Hi and welcome!

Looking at the hot shoe, has it been impacted by anything?  In the first image the right-hand frame has a decent size dent in it and, the whole frame looks a tiny bit out of alignment.
Also, look at the springs inside each channel.  They should both be like the one on the left (as per the last image), if one is  not it may be that the spring is not completing a contact and thus makes the camera believe there is something in the hot shoe.
