Canon Rebel T6 & ND Filter issues

Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to photography but I need help with trying to figure out how to take a photo of a waterfall/clouds/lakes with a ND Filter 10-stop. I've watched videos but none of them give an actual step by step for when you have a T6. My setup is:

T6 55-250 STM telephoto

ND Filter

Tripod

All I need is a step by step.
