If they look OK, what is the problem?

Outside Auto White Balance usually does a good job.

Until you learn more about photography, and the camera body, use P mode and save images as RAW.  Use the Canon DPP software to convert the RAW images into JPG files.

This is the color temp of a photo.  Your eyes adjust to the changes in color temp but a camera sensor doesn't.

I agree, if they look OK what is the issue?  If they don't look good in Auto mode, don't use Auto mode.

It is purely dependent on how bright the light is and What colors your Image sensor might be getting.

1. Explore and learn How to use "Custom White Balance"

2. Shoot Raw Images- So that you can extract the real colors in Editing.
