Canon Rebel T3 turned off when I inserted a memory card

I inserted a memory card in the slot of my rebel t3, and the camera turned off and will not turn back on, even when I take the memory card out of the slot. is there a fix to get it to turn back on?

It is a very bad idea to insert a memory card into a camera with the power turned on - is this something you do normally?  If it will not turn on again, it is possible that inserting the card has created an electrical short and damaged the circuitry.
I would suggest the following:
Make sure the camera is turned OFF
Remove the memory card
Remove the battery - put that on charge
Take off the lens (replace it with the body cap) - put the rear lens cap on the lens.
leave the camera for an hour or two.
Put the battery back in
Turn the camera back on again.
Please let us know what happens at this point.

that might be it, the same thing happened to my T3i with the same memory card

I would also recommend using a different memory card.
ALWAYS turn the camera off before removing or connecting:
the lens
the battery
the card
