Took delivery of a Canon Ra plus the EF-S lens adapter for astrophotography use yesterday. Currently exploring features and testing. When using my EF-S lenses, camera works as expected. When attached to telescope via the standard EF-S ring, shutter is not activating. I feel like I am missing something obvious but can't figure it out. I set focus to manual and tried a few other setting changes. Still no pictures. What am I missing?

Found it, camera settings icon number 5 "release shutter without lens".
Thanks!

Check the menus to see if there is setting that disables the camera from firing the shutter when there is no lens attached. It may be in the Custom Funtions 5 menu, which is where it is on the EOS R.
