Canon R50 | A beep sound is getting recorded

Hello guys,

I recently bought canon R50, while recording videos by using an external mic - Digitek, a beep sound is continuously recording to the video, what's would be the issue, is that issue with mic or something that I need to change I camera settings, kindly please advice.

Sometimes it is cellphone interference.

Is the beep sound recorded when the camera is used without the external Digitek mic? 

If the sound is not present with the camera's own mic then possible causes are:-

• a device making the beep noise is closer to the wireless mic than the camera
• the wireless mic is picking up some interference

If the beep is still heard with the camera microphone, then change to a quiet location and make a test using the camera mic only. If no beep then the beep source is in the environment where you are shooting.

The beep sound is coming only when recording with external Digitek mic.

I'll try recording in a quiet place.
