Traveling to see the Kilauea volcano this summer and have seen some amazing photos and videos taken. Looking for veteran photographer advise on a suitable lense and some camera settings suggestions for best chance of getting good shots. I currently purchased an EOS Rebel T7 and 75-30mm lense. Thanks in advance.

Look at the exif data on some of the "amazing" photos to see what they use. I expect ebiggs to come along and suggest to learn photoshop.
The 75-300 you have is not the best of lenses. It lacks IS and is not particularly sharp.
My first suggestion would be the EF-S 17-55 lens if you could find one. The next is the 18-135 which is a good walk around lens.

Have a good vacation in the Islands. I have the 18-135 and find I use it a lot.
