I was taking some photos in manual mode and all of sudden it went into burst mode and it took some snaps and then camera's flash popped up with an error which vanishes in seconds. And after that the flash wasn't closing anymore. I googled it but I didin't got any leads. I tried to switch on/ off and removed the battery in the process. But still the flash wasn't closing at all.
I am using EOS 80D.

I would recommend resetting the camera back to factory. To see if the problem goes away.
