Canon EOS 7D, help installing a Split Prism Screen

Hello does anyone have any experience of installing a Split Prism Screen in An EOS 7D..as I have a number of Analogue lenses, I would like to use..Thanks.

The focusing screen IS NOT user replaceable/ changeable. Your camera uses an LCD overlay in the viewfinder. Your best bet is to use live view.

Right. There aren't alternate screens for the 7D.

1. Anths wants a split-image screen. The one in the video is not that. The only screen available for the 7D is the type that comes in the camera.

2. The 7D Mk II has two screens, neither of which is a split-image.

3. The 7D screen is not user-replaceable, as per Canon. I'd bet changing it is not as simple as the video shows. It does not have locating tabs like the Mk II screen does. Positioning can be tricky. And the LCD overlay adds complication.
