I just got a Canon EOS 7D. I've never really used a DSLR before (though I used a Canon Rebel 2000 for years) so I'm very much a beginner.
Anyways, I'm playing around with it to get used to the settings, but every time I take a picture the viewfinder goes blank for about 2 seconds. It make taking contiueous shots impossible. I figure I must have messed something up while fiddling with the settings. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks!

Download the manual for it & read up on it's basic operations & settings. It's a complex device & it's worth learning how to use it.

Do you have the 2 second self timer set?
