Canon 5D Mk4.... Save all settings to a card?

I have a Canon 5D Mk4 and have had it for a number of years. Recently I bought a second 5D Mk4 body, in case something happens to the first one.

I hope there is a way to copy all the settings and changes I have made to the first body to the second body.

It would be real handy if I could just copy all the settings to a CompactFlash Memory Card and put the card in the second body and copy them all to the second body. I think that is possible on other Canon bodies but I have not found a way to do it on the 5D.

Anyone know if there is a way to do that?

Can't be done on the 5D IV. As for other Canon cameras, maybe newer 1D series and the upper end R series. My R5's will, but not my 5D IV.

I think you can.

 Menu > Setup Menu >Save/load camera settings on card>Save.  Then simply reverse the procedure in the new 5D Mk IV.  Select "Load from card" in that same menu. (if I remember correctly that is, is been a long time 😊) 

Anyway look for it in there.

I just did that on mine to double check, f/w 1.4.0 (2023). There are only 5 tabs in "Setup", none allow for "save to card".

Yep. I looked and can't find anything like that either. (darn)

I winder if you hook the body to a computer via USB if you could find the settings somewhere?

I seriously doubt it. I had all the 5D models but that was a while ago. If it isn't a Menu item you can't do it. I really thought that was a 5D feature maybe not on he early models but certainly on the Mk IV. It must have been a feature only on  the 1 series.
