Canon 5D Mark IV 10 or 12 bit please!

Canon should give us a firmware update to give us 10 or 12 bit for video on the 5D Mark IV.

I forgot about that. Does it actually record in 10bit and not 8?

I believe you are limited to 8 bit depth video regardless of internal/external recording with the 5D and 1DX series bodies, my XF-400 will go to 10 bit IF using an external recorder and you likely need to go to the EOS cinema series for greater bit depth for video.  As I recall even the somewhat oddball DSLR based 1D Cinema offered only 8 bit depth.
