Yes, and you can use the fastest XC cards as well.

It will "fit" or work in your camera but IMHO, it is too big.  People that get these huge SD cards tend to leave all their photos on the card.  They don't save them safely on their computer.

 

Are you a stills or video shooter?  If you do video I suppose there is a valid reason to use big SD cards but not for stills.

Personally I use 16 GB cards.  I have several and change them often.

While the card size is compatible, you need to own at least 2 cards (and 3 or 4 wouldn't hurt).  

 

Due to the way flash memory works, every time you "write" to a card, you very slightly degrade it.  It's sort of like the tires on a car... you may not notice the wear after just one drive, but technicaly you did get a bit of wear and if not replaced, those tires would eventually fail.

 

I like to have backup cards and I'd prefer to avoid putting too many images on just one card.
