Yes, but you need an Apple iPad accessory.
Also... it depends on if your iPad has the "dock" connector, or if you have a newer model with the "lightning" connector.
If you have the "dock" connector, then you need this:

The kit includdes two connectors... one has a USB port. The second is an SD card reader. You can use either the USB connector to download from the camera (via the camera's USB cable) or you can put the camera's SD card into the card reader.
If you have the "lightning" connector then they don't include both... you pick the one you prefer (or you can just buy both but of course it costs more.)

Note that the iPad will only be able to display images shot in JPEG. If you shoot RAW it will see the thumbnails (and I believe it even displays the embedded thumbnail in the RAW file) but it cannot actually open and display the RAW image.

You could also transfer the files to your bluetooth equipt notebook, if you so happen to have one, and then send them wirelessly to your iPad.
