Hi! I have the EOS R50 camera. I have been trying to update the firmware for weeks and it is always failing. I am always in a WiFi area, it's connected to Bluetooth but I can't seem to understand why it continues to fail.
it is currently on firmware 1.2.0 firmware

Welcome!
At what point in the process is it failing for you? Many users get stuck on the camera screen that asks you for confirmation to proceed. This screen forces you to make two actions. You must use the camera buttons to move the cursor to [Ok], and then you must press [Set].
The wireless update is slow. Using a memory card is faster and inherently more reliable because it is not vulnerable to RFI interference.
