Bought a used Canon 6d. Having troubles with long exposures.

So, damaged my old 6d, bought a new used 1 with a 2 year guarantee at a store.

I do mostly night car photography (light painting), and take exposures from 15-30 seconds. With the old 6d, i'd have to run back to the camera to see the results. (Photo was saved on the card in under 2 seconds). With my new camera, i'm having to wait 15-25 seconds after the photo is taken for the shot to save on the card. During this time, i cant make any other photo. Never had this with the old 6d.

The new camera has 4400 clicks (yes 4400). I use high speed sd card, even tried a few cards to see if the 1 was damaged. Also tried a few different batteries, but the problem stays.

Any idea what the problem could be? Is there something in my settings that I shpuld change (menu).

Settings i shot at the other day was ISO 100, F9, 30 seconds

Long exposure noise reduction removes hot pixels by taking a dark frame with the same exposure time.
