APSC Lens on a 5D IV

I saw a video recently where a SIGMA 30mm APSC lens was used on a Sony A1. Does anyone know if its possible to use a 30mm APSC lens lens on a 5DIV?

The mirror may be in the way if you mount EF-S on a full frame DSLR from Canon.

This may be possible with a third party APS-C lens, but a Canon EF-S lens will not mechanically fit on an EF mount. The question is "Why?", it is so much easier to add vignetting in post.

Also pay great attention to Peter's post.

As I looked closer at the video it was a Sigma 30mm DC DN being used on a Sony A1 not a 30mm DC. My question has been answered.

Don't even TRY to put an EF-S lens on a FF body.  You can damage the mirror mechanism because the lens protrudes in the main body of the camera much more than an EF lens.   I have seen people break their mirror in trying to do so.
