700D screen is rotated in the opposite direction

As the title suggests, my Canon 700d camera  screen is rotated in the opposite direction. Is it possible to fix it with a firmware update? Or do I have to replace the screen with a new one?

My camera is 3 years old. Maybe I also need to replace it with a better one

Greetings ,

The first thing I would do Is gently fold the screen out and articulate it to see if the view changes.

Does it flip if you rotate the camera upside down?

Following this I would reset the camera settings to defaults and retest.

After performing these steps, you can decide if you want to have the camera serviced.  It's gyroscope may be broken or not calibrated.
