I recently purchased my first 5D Mk iv and noticed an odd problem - when I am taking pictures in bright daylight with the sun behind me (good place for it generally!), the light meter through the viewfidner washes out - I can't read it. I have to cup my left hand on over it for it to be visible. I wear glasses, so maybe the seal with the eyecup isn't perfect, but I never had this problem with previous cameras.
Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and any suggestions. It's a minor problem; but-when shooting manually- one tends to run out of hands quickly.
