Hi all,
Having trouble connecting my mark II to my macbook.
All forums and tutorials tell me to install the EOS utility software but when I look at software download from the Canon site, it's not there for download. Should I download the one for Mark III?

Since you are using Big Sur, did you grant privileges to EOSU?
Go to Security & Privacy->Privacy->Files and Folders and see if EOS Utility is there and checkmarked.

Its not there, how can I add it?

I would suggest that:
1. Go to the support page for the Canon 1D X Mark III for Catalina.
2. Download and install EOS Utility 3.13.10.
3. Follow any prompts.
4. Go to security page and see if permissions there.
That's all I can offer.

Thanks. tried those things but no luck.
Which makes me think its the USB socket of the camera.
Asked for a quote to fix it.
Thank you for all the help.
