I can't seem to find information on the maximum write speed capability of the 5D MK3. For example, will there be any benefit moving to the Sandisk Extreme PRO CFast 2.0 with 425 MB/S write speed versus the SanDisk Extreme UDMA 7 at 120MB/S? All the information I have found is for CF cards maxing out at 160 MB/S, which shows just a slight improvement over 120 MB/S, all else being equal.
Any insight is appreciated.

Hi PHenry. The EOS 5D Mark III is not compatible with CFast cards. You can find more information on tested cards as well as speeds for different functions here http://Canon.us/mhdt
We hope this helps!

Fastest write speed I have seen with a 5DIII and CF has been around 120MB/s together with KomputerBay 128gb 1066x. Read speed was around 155 MB/s. Fastest write speed with a 5DIII and SD is 21 MB/s.
