Did anyone notice that even you set the max iso to less than 12800, like 6400, 3200, etc. in "iso speed settings --> Range for 4k" setting, the actual max iso still go up to 12800 while recording movie with auto iso.
Is there any workaround to set the max iso less than 12800 for movie?
Thx.

Yes, I mean I'm using the video menu. With iso speed settings -> Range for 4k setting max iso to 6400, recording movie with auto iso still go up to 12800 no matter i use M, T, A, P mode.
But if i set max iso to 25600, it did go up to 25600 rather than 12800.
Hmm, it still sounds like you are misunderstanding something. The settings seem to have a few caveats associated with them. Movie shooting in M mode has different Auto ISO behavior than P, T, or A modes.

Check out remarks about Movie Shooting with Auto ISO pages 299-302 in the Instruction Manual.

Thanks Waddizzle.
Ok, so there is no way to override the default auto iso range 100 to 12800 for movie, but only available for photo.
I believe that is the default range for 4K video modes. But, page 302 appears to suggest that you can set a narrower range only when you are shooting in A mode.
