EOS 1DX and 1D Mk IV and less lenses then before!

canon 600d...efs18-135mm...macro 0.45m/1.5ft

is it enoug ?

i dont know very much about lens...

Unless the zoom lock is on, the little switch marked "Lock" under the barrel, it probably needs service.

This switch should be located on the barrel of the lens.

It can only be engaged when the zoom setting is at the shortest focal length.

Yes, that macro distance means you have the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens by Canon.  No focus lock.

there is no lock button and I don't know where is the zoom setting are 😞

You must have the new usm-nano lens with the contacts for the zoom accesory. Sounds like something failed there, you need to contact canon.

The EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens lacks a zoom lock.

The EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM does have a zoom lock.

The EF-S 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 USM also lacks a zoom lock. Which I believe is the one we are talking about here.

To make it even more confusing all three are currently listed in the product section of Canon's website.
