My zoom is coming in the mail tomorrow. I will be using it with my EOS M100 and an adapter.
What is recommended:
1) adapter on camera and the add lens or
2) adapter on lens and then camera.
(1) seems to put the most torque on the camera (adapter the lens)
Is that true ?
thanks

I don't have a mirrorless camera and I don't know the 'correct' way to do it. But I put the adapter, tele con in my case, on the camera first and put the lens into it. However, I seem to take both off the camera and separate them after removal. I really don't think it matters.

The instructions that come with the Canon adapter instruct you to mount it to the camera first.
