Wedding photography lens recommendations

  • Good evening.
has anybody had experience with wedding photography, if so what lens do you guys use for when the bride is walking down but still a good focal length to get the groom first reaction of his bride walking down? I’m thinking about using my 35mm for both the bride walking down and the groom reaction.   Any other tips would be appreciated to!

I have shoot many, many, many weddings and probably the last lens (maybe not the very last but close) I would choose is a 35mm prime or any prime lens for that matter. Although I am not saying that I wouldn't be at 35mm at some point. However by far my most used lens is my 24-70mm f2.8L.

My wedding bag has lenses form 16mm to 400mm and they are all zooms but the one that lives on my 1 Series camera is that 24-70mm f2.8L.
