Just got this delivered by FedEx, I opened the box which was packaged very well. Until I got to the pouch that the lens was in. I noticed the lens cap was not on, I gently pulled the lens out and it was cracked! I am speechless.
It looks like whomever packaged this lens dropped it and cracked it. Now what happens?

Oh no! If you ordered this directly from Canon USA, we recommend giving our sales team a call at 1-800-385-2155 and they can help you with this. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays.
We look forward to your call!

Greetings,
While unfortunate, this should be easy to resolve. I'm sure the shipment was insured. Call Canon and let them know what happened. They will instruct you on next steps. You may need to file a claim with FedEx too, but start with Canon. They can advise you.
