I just bought a RF600mm f4.0 from B&H. When I move my lens, not hooked with a camera, it feels like something inside is moving. When I shake the lens gently, it feels a ball is rolling inside. Is it normal?
I feel worried.
Thanks

Greetings,
Its the IS. Nothing to worry about. When the lens isn't attached to a camera and powered on, the image stabilizer can rattle a bit. Its completely normal.

"When I shake the lens ..."
I would not do that! 🤔
Let me ask, you have the Canon RF 600mm f/4 L IS USM Lens? A $14,000 dollar lens? You don't have the very much cheaper Canon RF 600mm f/11 IS STM Lens. If I owned the first lens it would go to Canon not tomorrow or next week but today if it made any noise inside.
