I saw a post on here the other day about someone's coating failing on their RF 28-70mm F2, in the comments it was mentioned it was pretty common on that lens, so I searched the web and saw a few complaints on the 85mm as well.
I have a launch day 28-70 with no issues still, so I'm trying to figure out how wide-spread this actually is. How many others here have experienced this and on what lenses? For people who shoot multiple systems, have you seen a similar problem with any of your other gear https://speedtest.vet/ ?
I'm really curious to figure out if this is widespread in the lineup before I continue to invest in it, or if the incidence isn't out of the ordinary on Canon versus other brands.
