Need Your Opinions on a Lens Options for my R7_PLEASE!

Hello everyone! I have an R7 and have it setup in a very tight sound booth up high above my head.  My head is approximately two feet away from the lens of the camera currently.  I would like a lens for shooting video's in a tight space (4FT X 4FT Sound Booth) and get as much in the frame as possible.  I'm using LED strip lighting inside the space currently and it isn't super bright so preferably a lens that works well in lower light applications. 

I've been looking at the RF 50mm F1.8 STM lens and the RF 28mm F2.8 STM on Amazon.  I'm thinking that there may be other options that could be better than these two, like the RF 16mm for example.  The price difference in most lenses this size is negligible. 

Any suggestions and opinions are GREATLY appreciated!

If you want a fast lens (i.e. with the largest aperture), with the best optics, I would suggest looking at the Sigma lenses recently announced for the RF mount under license agreement with Canon.  They are more expensive but, given you want low light performance, they are the best - you get what you pay for.

Either the currently available Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary or, available in the fall: 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary.

For the distance you have to deal with, it might be worth saving up and waiting for the latter.
