Lenses??

I want to get a lens but it says (Lens for Canon Rebel T5i T5 T4i T3i T3 T2i T1i XT XTi XS XSi SL1, 5D Mark III, 5D Mark II, 6D, 70D, SL1, 60D, 7D, EOS 700D 650D 600D 550D 500D 450D 400D 350D 300D 1100D 100D DSLR Cameras).

My question is can you use a lens designed for canon t3i on a t3
I have a Canon t3.

Yes you can. 

Both T3 and T3i are crop sensor bodies. Crop bodies can mount both crop lenses (EF-s) and full frame lenses (EF). 

The lens ad you posted says it fits both crop bodies and full frame bodies, by the way.

What other lenses do you already have?

Would you consider two more specialized lenses rather than one all-purpose lens?  Any all-purpose lens has to make optical compromises in order to cover a big range of focal lengths.  As lunar photography and landscape photos are (pardon the pun) worlds apart, you would be stretching a single lens pretty thin to do both. Typically a landscape lens is rather wide, and a lens for shooting the moon would be a very long lens.

I agree with Scotty.  Landscape lenses tend to be wide, under 35mm.   Meanwhile you definitely want a long lens, 500mm and up, for moon shots.  Be aware that not every wide lens produces a flat image.  Most lens will introduce some fisheye effect as you go to shorter and shorter lenses.  Some wide lenses are designed to specifically not do that, like the EF 14 mm f/2.8L.

For moon shots, you would also want a heavy duty tripod that can support at least 3-4 times the weight of your lens/camera setup, and don't forget to add in the extra weight for your tripod's head.  Most tripods are rated for a maximum weight with the center column lowered, and the weight centered on the tripod.  The weight of your camera/lens will go pretty far off-center when you tilt your setup towards the moon.  Be aware that some long lenses with tripod mounts are better balanced than others.

I am willing to look at anything. So ideas of what to get would be greatly appreciated.

You could really do the landscapes pretty well with your 18-200.  Unless you need a wider lens than 18mm for the landscapes I think you could tackle the long lens first.  if you need wider look at Canon or Sigma 10-20 or 10-22 lenses. They are for crop cameras so they are pretty affordable.   

For distance, the Tamron seems to fit the rest of your Tamron kit.  Sigma makes a Contemporary zoom that goes to 600 that is considered pretty good too.   I agree with the above that a good tripod would be great.
