Hello everyone.
I have a Canon AE-1 that is still in beautiful working condition that I would like to pass down to my son who has decided to go to college to become a photographer. The one thing that I need repaired is the 135mm lens. Can anyone tell me if Canon or anyone else can fix this for me?

I keep intending to try this one:

Yes I know the feeling but are you sure it is also shared with your son since he did not have the experiences with it as you did. My F1n sits in its honored place and I pick it up ever once in a while and just think and reminisce but my kids don't know that. They didn't live with it. It's just an old camera.
Film today is either an art form or a hobby. It has no place in the photography industry. The company I worked at, Hallmark Cards in KC, for 40 years went all digital well before I retired 20 years ago.
