Those crazy little bots are just messing with you. I use that one as well as many others on my 90D. All EF lenses work on the 90D.

Maybe the "bot" thinks that since the 90D is an APS-C body it can ONLY use EF-S lenses.
Of course we sentient beings know that ALL EF and EF-S lenses work on ALL Canon DSLRs , except for a few oldies, like the EOS 10D for example.

Oops! I misspoke. EF lenses work on (almost) ALL DSLRs. EF-S lenses work on ALL APS-C (crop-sensor) bodies.

This is the message I'm getting from the Canon website in the UK. I've checked they have the right camera, and it's eos90d.

Well, they are absolutely wrong!

Greetings,
You'll love this lens. Here is a series where I used it adapted on my R5 C. Wonderful lens, very sharp.

I, too, think the ad is in error I see no reason why that lens should not work on your 90D in fact I know a few folks that have that combo.
