EF-S 55-250mm with EOS M6

I recently purchased a refurbished EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM for my EOS M6 camera. I'm new to photography and was looking for a lens with a better zoom. However, I noticed that the lens does not fit my m6 camera body.

Is there an adapter that I need or is this lens not compatible with my camera body?

Thanks.

You just need to get an EF to EF-M adapter.

A better idea is to get the correct lens EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens. It's not a lot more than the adapter!

EOS 1DX and 1D Mk IV and less lenses then before!
