EF Lens Recommendation for Astrophotography

Hi I have a rebel t7 and was looking for recommendations for a lens to take pictures of the stars. I was out west this past fall and planning to go back . This is the first real camera I’ve owned and new to it  and online it’s a little confusing. For what I’ve read you need a wide angle lens. I want something decent but also don’t want to break the bank either. Any suggestions?

By far the most popular lens for star duty is the Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 Lens. Keep in mind it is all manual but for stars that is what you want.
