Canon EF-S 18-135mm STM Focus Issue

So I recently bought this lens second hand and I noticed a problem with the focus where it only focuses to a certain distance. Both for auto and manual focus. I use this with a Canon M6 MKII and I use the viltrox adapter for it. My 50mm f/1.8 II focus works perfectly with the adapter.
Hoping to get some suggestions on how to fix it. Or if this is a common thing. Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to the forum:

Given that your lens is second-hand, are you sure it functioned fully when you purchased it?

cheers, TREVOR

This lens is focus by wire. That's why manual focus isn't working correctly either. If the adapter isn't functioning correctly it can cause problems too. Test the lens out on a EF-S Mount camera to see if it works correctly.
