I'm new here. I have a Canon T3i. Two kit lenses came with it in a bundle...18-55mm, 55-250mm. I am considering getting the Canon 18-200mm. Would the Canon 18-200mm be a good choice to replace both lenses, or are there better choices to replace them with and keep the 18-200mm also?

I'm still trying to get the hang of all the different features for this site. like rich text, HTML, preview. Changing colors of type, etc. Good as I am with Pc's, I'm lousey when it comes to email use. I never even used office, never had the need.
After you hit "Reply", it's two icons to the right of the smiley face. At least in the Internet Explorer presentation.

"Do you need both????"
Yes
You don't need both.

Hey Bob thanks. I guess you're always not far away huh??? LOL. You must keep an eye out here to assist when you can. That's a comforting thought Bob. It's like an old saying told to me long long ago about mentorship. "When the pupil is ready, the teaher will appear" (grin)
I just tried to upload a pic and it's too large for this site. I set my camera to +L for photo size when taking my pics. I will reset to a smaller size for next set of pics I take. I could set it for S, that's good for email. But pics quality are not as good at that size are they??? Small size means less pixles.

Man. This stuff gets more complicated by the day...not to mention expensive. And those last lens purchases just blew my budget for this month. Remember I got 2 lens and the new 60D. And I will replace those funds in the bank first, before I make another purchase. That's why I told you it must be nice to do what you're doing. It's real nice. One day I may find myself in your shoes, but today is really not that day LOL.
Note: I did manage to sell those lens and my Rebel. That re-coops some of the cost of my purchases. I kept my EF-S 75-300mm f/4-5.6 .....just to have a ittle more range till I can replace it with a better L lens. Actually the pics I take with it aren't all that bad. I know the pics I take with it would'nt hold up to you guys close examination. But to the untrained eye, they'll do.

This is DPP, Digital Professional Pro. It came with your camera. It can set the size and file type for you. Have you installed it or even looked at it? It is free from Canon if you need to d/l it.

Hey Biggs thanks much I was lost till now. That screen shot helps alot. As I said, using email features is not my strong suit. All you guys who have used "Office" seem to be very good at all the email stuff and using all it's features. I really must get better with that.

I got it now Biggs, but my pics are too large to upload, I have my camera pic size set to (+L).. I will reset my pic size in my camera for the shots I'll take today. I'll set my camera on (S) for email.

Getting ready to shower and get out for a few hrs. Getting out everyday Photo taking is good excersize for me. I'm going to be riding my bike soon also.
