Hello! Relatively new to photography and have bought an EOS R5. I am wanting to do a little bit of real estate photography so I have bought the RF 15-35mm F2.8 https://vlc.onl/ .
I am wanting a decent portrait lens (family and newborn, maternity photography) but not wanting to spend as much as the above lens . Would you recommend the basic EF 50mm or something else?
Thank you!

For portraits you might want to have a little longer focal length than the RF 50mm F1.8 STM provides. One other choice is RF 85mm F2 Macro IS STM lens. It's super sharp, small sized, lightweight lens priced at $549 currently.
