Greetings all,
I'm looking for your recommendations on the best lens to use with my Rebel T7 for getting closeups of the solar eclipse and full moon. What have been your experiences? Tips?

One of the 150-600mm third party lenses work well. I have the Tamron, but the Sigma's are good, too.
Other than that, anything bigger than 400mm should be fine. I already shared my eclipse images.

Thank you.

More importantly is the filter you use and need. Never point a camera/lens toward the Sun with out proper filter.

B&H and Adorama have published tutorials on YouTube. The filter is the most important piece to the puzzle. The bigger the lens, the expensive the filter.
You will also want a good tripod. A baseball cap can work as temporary lens cap between shots.
