Hi there !
I use the 7DM2 and I'd like to buy the canon 24-105L. There's a cheap option ( $599 refurbished ) from Canon store online.Have you ever tried buying there?Any advice on that ? Also I saw there is a new version coming next month. Does it mean that I could find a great deal in a short time? I like to know from you...Thanks a bunch !

To me, refurbished by Canon is just as good as new. Assuming there will be a flood of version 24-105 f/4L lenses available, perhaps at better prices, they won't be new, with warranty.
However, you might want to consider getting the version 2 of the lens...it will be much improved, based on past release of newer versions.

It's a great deal. I bought the same lens from there a year ago. It came with a one year warranty, and had that new gear smelll. The refurbished store is the best place I know of Canon deals. The last time I checked, the only downside is that extended warranties may not be available on some items.

"It's a great deal."
It is a "good" deal but not really a "great" deal. The ef 24-105mm f4L has always been available in a 'white box' version for as little as $650. Almost always not more than $700. This is a full on brand new lens. Not refurbished. Canon is going to want to rid itself of the version 1 quickly.
I had several of these lenses over the years and they all were best buy, bang for the buck lenses. In that sense it is a "great deal"!
If you want the best you do need to wait for version 2. But for that somewhat better IQ you will pay top dollar. In real world will you be able to discern the difference? Perhaps but maybe not.

Oh, she'll be able to tell the difference, all right. The new version is almost a half inch longer and 125 grams heavier than the old one.

Buying from Canon refurbished is great.
The EF-24-105 f/4L IS for the 7D Mk II, not so great. If you got the EF-S 18-135 IS kit lens with your camera, it is actually sharper than the 24-105. The only reason to look at the 24-105 is for weather sealing, it won't help your image quality.
