ts8100 series (model ts8120) how to set up WiFi

pwrichcreek

Windows 10. I previously had the printer set up for WiFi. To troubleshoot an issue with another printer, an HP not Canon, they asked me to remove the 8100. Now I've finished that troubleshooting and cannot get the 8100 to use WiFi. I have it connecteed with a USB cable, but wifi would be much more convenient and woiuld enable me to access the printer from my Surface Book. I tried doing it with the printer's touch screen, but I couldn't get the password keyed in correctly. I thought there was a way to do it through the computer Control Panel Netrwork and Sharing.

TIA for your suggestions. pwrichcreek

WOW! That's just about the smoothest setup process that I've ever experienced. The only thing I had to do was to keep clicking NEXT or CONTINUE or YES. I'll be retiring the dear TS8120 soon, but she will be kept connected and ready in the event I need her. And thank you for your help.Smiley Very Happy

Glad it helped.
