Trying to install drivers and get "failed to acquire information on the driver and software" error. What is the fix for this?

Are you installing from the CD or the web?

Turns out it was a permissinons issue. Had to log user out and login as local admin to run the install.

Pixma TS9020. My computer is not networked, it is local, and I can't get around it. The funny thing is I had installed it last week but the printer started showning an error message C000 so I had to return it and get another one. Due to different IP address I removed teh previous driver and utilities and now I cant install.
