My Pixma G3100 printer sporadically goes into continuous initialization and won't print. This happens without any change in computer connection (USB only) or computer system (Macbook Air currently running Sierra 10.12.2). Yesterday it was printing just fine and had been for weeks. Now it has gone into this continuous initialization which does not quit. Plenty of ink in all containers. Connections are all solid
This has been happening off and on for the last year. It is somewhat like an infinite loop. The printer suddenly goes into the loop and just as suddenly comes out of it and starts printing normally again.
Anyone else had this problem? What did you do?
