Did you mean:

partial pages

Hello,

So I just got a new MG3222 to replace an old, worn-out HP Photosmart 3210 All-in-one series, and I seem to be running into the same problem I was recently having with the HP, where it would only print partial pages (web, word doc, email, etc.).  I noticed this issue starting around the same time I upgraded my router/modem to the Arris TG862 and now I'm wondering if there may be some known issues with this.  The router does indicate the printer is connected.

I've re-installed the printer software and done anything additional I can think of with no success.  Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello.

If you are printing from the web, you may experience a cut off depending on how the page was formatted.

To resolve this issue, please check to see if a 'Print' option is available inside or around the article or email you wish to print.  This should properly format the page for printing.

If you continue to have difficulties, please copy the text and then paste it into your desired word processing program for printing.

Thats the thing, there is no error message associated with these partial pages.  The print job begins, and then stops at any random point during the page.

Hi eolorenshaw,

Ensuring that network devices are suitably located may resolve the issue you are experiencing.  Please make sure of the following:

 1.  The access point is located indoors within the effective range for wireless communication.  Locate the printer within 50 meters of the access point.

 2.  There is no obstruction.  Wireless communication between different rooms or floors is generally poor.  Adjust the location of the devices.

 3.  There is no source of radio wave interference in your vicinity.  There may be a device such as a microwave oven using the same frequency bandwidth as the wireless station.  Place the wireless devices as far away from the interference source as possible.

Hope this helps!

I printed out a network report page and the printer has 99% connectivity.  It is fully connected to my network, however, when a print job is sent, it only prints partial pages.  I need a solution to this as my ISP has none for me.

Thanks.

Hi eolorenshaw,

To further troubleshoot the issue, I would like you to unplug the router for about 15 seconds and plug it back in.  If this does not resolve the issue, I would recommend using the Contact Us link to get in touch with our support staff who can expedite the troubleshooting process.
