I was able to load a fax driver. Now if I try to print I only have the option to send the image to fax. How do I get the printer detected? This is a cable connection. Cable tested good.

Hi,
Please disconnect the printer USB cord and delete the printer and restart your computer. After the restart, click HERE and download/install the Print Driver and Scan Utility Installer Ver.1.01 file. Make sure the printer USB cord stays disconnect until a message appears in the install asking you to connect it.
Once the printer is install try to print and the your printer should appear as a MG2900 series.
