need new printer using 245 and 246 ink

I currently have the MG2522 model which uses 245 and 246 ink.  Not sure how old this printer is, but I recently purchased a combo pack of ink from Amazon for around $60.  The black ink only gave me about 4 printed pages, and quit.  Went to Walmart and purchased a black cartridge, but now the printer itself won't print.  It 'scans' to print about halfway way, and then it gives me an error light.  Since I paid so much for the ink, I prefer to find a new printer that uses this same 2 cartridges.  Can't seem to find one.. can anyone tell me which models use 245 and 246 ink?  Thank you.

Hi MacandRobo,

When the error light starts to blink, how many times does it blink?

Once you have that information, please use the link below to determine the cause of that error.

Hi there, i use the same cartridge and i have the pixma ts3425. Just make sure to get an extended warranty because they're made a bit cheap since they're sold for cheap (got mine for less than the price of the cartridge). I'm stuck in the same problem as you, i want something better quality but just bought a big pack of cartridges. 🙃
