hello,  i have printer mx922  and need help.  i need to scan documents into different files to my laptop.   i've tried to  designate the scanned doc.  for this and only get pdf files to desktop.  can this  printer perform this fuction and i would like for the scanned file not to be pdf.  thanks,  brian.  using  win 7

I scan to a USB drive then move the USB drive to the computer. The USB socket on the Mx922 is on the front, bottom left.
