mp480 driver and Microsoft 10 printer works scanner won't

Had canon mp480 all in one printer/scanner for a long time always worked fine. Updated to Microsoft 10. Printer works fine from pc but scanner will not. Drivers not found. How do I get the scanner to scan and import to document.

The PIXMA MP480 is not compatible with the Windows 10 operating system.

Very disappointed with Canon's laziness on this issue.  Seems like they simply  just don't want to publish a Windows 10 driver update.   Will be shopping for a new printer soon....and it wil not be Canon!

call the canon service people at 800-OK-Canon (800-652-2666). I had the same problem and thought I'd have to buy a new printer, but the representative helped me reinstall the navigator portion of the set up and I am both printing as I had been and now able to scan. cloc45

After going to windows 10 I had to reinstall Navigator from the disk that came with the printer. I was then able to scan.
