My 8 1/2 x 11 photos started coming out with horizontal 3/8" bars (8 1/2 to 81/2 edge) on a landscape printing. I have tried everything on the Maintenance menu and every item appears perfect (text printing is beautiful) until I print a photo, even in grayscale. I always use Canon ink and the printer drivers are the latest. What can I try next?

Hello.
The issue may be related to either the paper that you are using or the current media type settings.
Before printing, change the media type setting to match the type of photo paper that you are using. If the issue persists, try using a different type of paper to narrow down the cause of this issue.
