Printer won't print black (cartridge PGI-520BK) unless I implement print head cleaning operation of PGBK before printing every time. All other colours print without problem.
After cleaning, black prints OK for a short while, then needs cleaning again. I have implemented the deep clean function but the problem still remains. I have also changed the 520BK cartridge butagain this does not solve the issue. I have always used genuine Canon ink cartridges bought from a reputable store so it is unlikely to be the cartridge itself at fault.
I assume it is the print head, but if the printer's inbuilt cleaning operation doesn't solve it, what else can I do?
