YESTERDAY, I replaced the 3e Black ink cartridge and printed a photo. Soon there after I tried to print a spreadsheet and got blank pages. Tried to print a Testpage. It printed the Windows 7 logo, only, no text!
The printer worked fine ealier in the day. Virus scan found no issues.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dave

Are all the patterns (especially the black grid at the top) present?

The Nozzle Check printed two pages. The first page is printed only on the top half. All colors and black appear. The second page has just four rectangles on it. Three are black and one is cyan. Unfortunately, I have no idea if the output is correct.
The Head Alignment function generated an unidentified error and printed nothing,
Print Head Cleaning printed nothing as well. Is it supposed to?
The problem is that photo file types print and others do not regardless of which laptops initiates the print action.

If you mean black lines, or black rectangles, that form rows and columns--no.
Wish I had a scanner to post a picture of my output.

I finally click the link you sent in your first message,
I have no ouput from the 3e cartridge as shown in the article. I will try the deep cleaning routine suggested. If that doesn't resolve my problem, I'll buy a new cartridge.
